I had the pleasure of chatting with Betsy Hughes, SRA with BK Appraisals. Appraisers holding the SRA designation have met rigorous requirements relating to education, testing, experience and demonstration of knowledge, understanding, and ability. This designation sets her apart from the typical residential appraiser. In order to maintain the designation continuing education above the state requirements is required.
